Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Educational reforms are critical to addressing systemic challenges and improving the quality of education. The print media, as a powerful communication tool, plays a pivotal role in shaping public opinion and influencing policy decisions regarding educational reforms. In Kano Municipal Local Government, Kano State, newspapers and magazines have reported on issues such as curriculum development, teacher training, infrastructure, and access to education (Aliyu & Usman, 2024).
